that dont care about sales are some not all gamers. The rest of the video game industry cares. So enough with this purist babe in the woods act about sales not mattering. They matter. They matter so much that most of the games we play would not even exist if there was no possibility of monetary profit. So again I get the point that game sales does not equal quality. Just stop with this holier than thou act about PS3 games, the suits in Japan care very much about the sales numbers.
I will hook up my 360 to a PS3 and through the magic of computers transfer the red ring of death to the PS3. Then my PS3 will sleep with as many other PS3's as possible and contaminate all of them. Trend Micro wont be able to stop it. There is no hope.

the definition of flop is something or someone that is unsuccessful. The definition of success is an event that accomplishes its intended purpose.
So unless the makers of a game intended that their product sell poorly compared to other games, then in that situation the game would not be a flop. Next time Bethesda should make their games 360 exclusive, lord knows we need some quality exclusives.
Companies do what they think is in their best interest, and consumers do what is in their best interest. Bethesda and Valve for whatever reason decided that the 360 would generate more revenue for them. Are they right or wrong, does it matter? I own a 360 should I be mad that Guerilla Games or Naughty Dog are not going to port over their excellent games to the 360? We consumers made our decision with our console choice, the lucky ones who can afford both dont worry about any of this.
Give a developer 4 years and 50 million dollars to create a proprietary engine and then I think we would see what the 360 has yet to show. Its cheaper to use existing engines like source and unreal. Perhaps games made with the cryengine 3 will show how much juice the 360 has left. I bet ....
You know what I really stopped caring as I wrote this.
Peggle w/ competitive multiplayer is much more fun and addictive than Killzone 2 will ever be.
